For Town and Country delves into the twelve Ipswich Town players that played for England between a period of 1961 and 2000.

Ipswich Town Football Club are well known for supplying England with two of their greatest managers in Sir Alf Ramsey and Sir Bobby Robson as well as 12 players who have represented the Three Lions, including a World Cup captain and goalscorer.

Throughout the main part of the book, Karl covers the 108 England games where an Ipswich Town player featured, including notable facts that came out of those games and of from other players who played alongside those Town players.

All the games that featured Ray Crawford, Mick Mills, Kevin Beattie, Colin Viljoen, David Johnson, Paul Mariner, Brian Talbot, Trevor Whymark, Terry Butcher, Russell Osman, Eric Gates, and Richard Wright are reviewed in detail.

If you are looking for that England game that featured an Ipswich player but cannot remember its details, then this book is for you.
